I had to get an emissions test on my car before I could title it--wasn't as much of a pain as I thought it would be though. For 1996 and newer cars, they just plug your car into their system to make sure everything works properly. Kevin didn't need one though.
The titling process went smoothly and now the next step is to get a drivers license after I get some sort of proof of residence. Apparently a lease isn't good enough!
